As part of your comprehensive consultation, your Naturopathic Doctor may recommend diagnostic testing to help determine the root cause of your symptoms or monitor your progress and response to your treatment plan. Some of the tests we offer include:
Lab Testing (through LifeLabs or take-home kit): our Naturopathic Doctors can requisition lab testing as indicated for your comprehensive assessment and plan. Our care as NDs is not covered by OHIP and there is a patient cost for our lab-work (which may be covered by private insurance plans)
- General blood work (including but not limited to insulin sensitivity, cholesterol, thyroid, iron, B12, vitamin D, blood glucose, kidney function, liver enzymes, inflammatory markers, hormones, and more)
- Food Sensitivity Testing
- Comprehensive Stool Analysis or GI Mapping test
- SIBO Testing (lactulose breath test)
In-House Testing (can be completed during your visit as indicated):
- Body Composition Analysis (includes weight, BMI, body fat percentage, muscle mass percentage, resting metabolism and visceral fat)
- Women’s Health Exam and Testing (breast exam, vaginal exam, PAP testing, other vaginal swabs as indicated) available with Dr. Annaleeza Caputi, ND
- Urinalysis
- Blood pressure
