This is a very busy time of year at The Root as many people are in need of care due to seasonal influences as well as using insurance coverage before the end of December. We encourage you to book your appointments ahead of time to make sure you have the care you need and deserve. We also ask that you commit to your scheduled appointments or reschedule with as much notice as possible, but at least 48 hours prior.
We are dedicated to providing our clients with the best care possible while respecting the busy schedules and of our practitioners. Please be mindful that last minute cancellations (even when rescheduled) also affect others in need of care. When you cancel, reschedule, or don’t show up for your appointment it reserves time that someone else could have received care if the time slot was available in advance. This is a reminder of the policy agreed to in our initial intake forms for all services.
If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time but more than 24 hours in advance, a fee of 50% of the service cost is charged to the credit card on file.
If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time (including no notice or attendance), a fee of 100% of the service cost is charged to the credit card on file.
If enough notice is given and we are able to fill the time slot of the canceled/rescheduled appointment, you will not be charged the fee!
Late arrivals may receive care in the time left in their scheduled appointment, however full payment will be required for the original time/service that was booked.
If you have in-clinic a Naturopathic Consultation booked and you are sick, you can change your appointment to Virtual (phone or video) to keep your scheduled appointment.
